In the coming years, the President of Uzbekistan plans to form a new economic model based on scientific achievements and innovation. By 2030, the average per capita income of citizens of Uzbekistan should exceed the level of $4,000. This will be an excellent basis for the state to enter the category of countries in which the income of the population exceeds the average level.
The production of industrial goods will increase by 40%, and labor productivity will double, due to the introduction of more efficient and high-tech production methods, which are now being successfully implemented in the most developed countries.
The digital economy will become the basis of economic growth in the country. It is planned to increase production volumes of software products and increase indicators by at least 5 times. At the same time, the volume of exports should increase 10 times. Every residential premises and institution should be provided with a stable Internet connection at an affordable price. Connectivity must also be provided along the entire length of highways to ensure drivers remain connected throughout their journey.
Particular attention will be paid to issues of attracting investment. The increase in the republic’s export potential should reach 70%.
The principles of the “green economy” will be intensively introduced in all industries. They are based on increasing energy efficiency and reducing harmful emissions.
Another important aspect on which economic development depends is the training of qualified personnel. For this purpose, large enterprises will create their own vocational training centers. Particular emphasis will be placed on training specialists to work in pharmaceuticals, construction materials production, the petrochemical industry, and the textile industry.
